The files used for this service are provided by museumsvokabular.de, a service established by the Institute for Museum Research of the National Museums Berlin and the Zuse Institute Berlin. They are free for non-commercial use. For further information take a look at the according website, the conditions of use and the documentation.

This service is a spin-off of WissKI, a project funded by the German Research Foundation 2009-2011. WissKI develops a scientific communication infrastructure for curated knowledge. It is based solely on semantic web technologies like OWL, RDF and SPARQL and can access such endpoints to enrich local data. The SPARQL endpoints provided here are built upon a modified and enhanced version of the ARC2 Triple Store. The original version provides a sparse documentation.

Please keep in mind that this is an experimental service only. It might be inaccessible, broken or flawed without any notice. We take no responsibility for the reliability of the service or the data.
