4.3.1.1. Creating the Title of the Masks (Title pattern)

A title pattern is the artificially defined title of an entity (e.g. a collection object or a subgroup such as dimensions). It makes sense to generate this on fields that are filled. Example: Title Pattern Collection object: Inv. no. + name
To set a Title Pattern: gray admin bar → Structure → WissKI Entities and Bundles → Afterwards an overview of all groups and masks appears.
Example: Title Pattern Collection Object
To do this, select the collection object under the WissKI Entities and Bundles via "Edit", then "+ edit title pattern".
WissKI offers two possibilities to create a Title Pattern: Contents of existing fields from the respective mask (here collection object) and/or character strings (Add a text block);
These can be selected and created and arranged by drag and drop. The order of the fields and text blocks also defines the order in the title Pattern.
The current order is set here: Title pattern for collection object consists of inventory number (field) colon empty (text block) title/name (field)

In addition, you can create certain rules or define dependencies, see column "Dependencies". Example orange: for the text block colon empty (t1) it is defined that it only appears if the field p0 was filled with a content. Therefore "p0" is entered under Dependencies, which means: t1 should only appear if a value has been entered for p0.
If no inventory number has been entered, no content and no text block colon will appear empty in the Title Pattern.
Example green: for t3, i.e. the text block "<without title/name>", the command !p2 was used to define that this should appear if p2, i.e. the field for title/name, is empty or has not been filled. The exclamation mark causes "t should appear if p is empty".

Structure -> WissKi Entities and Bundles -> Select mask (e.g. "Person") -> + Edit title pattern
Here you can select with "Add a path" fields to be used for title generation. If two or more fields are to be used, then a character (e.g. space, parenthesis, period,...) can also be added via "Add a text block". Under the point Help further possibilities are explained with which titles of masks can be generated.
